Why use X-launch?
X-launch is a freeware launcher. Although as powerful (with folders and drag and drop enabled) as the Launcher that comes pre-installed with the MacOS, the execution is carried out in a more elegant manner. It is stable, and does not invoke the MacsBug (bug-catching software) even once on my computer.
The X-launch looks good, doesn't it?
By control clicking the area inside the window, you can invoke the contextual menu to give direct access to the commands available e.g. making a new folder, opening the preferences window etc.
The preferences window can of course also be activated from the menu.
Making new folders or sub-directories or categories for your apps in the launcher is easy.
This is how the X-launch looks with folders.
You can remove categories easily by just control clicking the folder icon.
